Middleware updates OpsAI automation, adds agent and SDK installation guidance, and expands user and project access permissions. The release also updates documentation and changelog navigation, improves alert and Real User Monitoring (RUM) performance, and fixes dashboard and application performance monitoring (APM) issues.
OpsAI Automation for Issue Investigations#
OpsAI automation now lets you choose which issues to investigate, when investigations run, and how many run automatically.
- Issue filters: Filter by service, cluster, and error type to focus investigations on specific environments and issues.
- Investigation scheduling: Run investigations when new issues are detected or schedule them for selected days.
- Investigation limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on automatic investigations to control token usage.
- Notifications: Choose notification destinations and how often notifications are sent.
Automation currently supports APM, Kubernetes, and RUM issues. Automatic investigation of alerts is coming soon.

Agent and SDK Installation Guidance#
Infrastructure, APM, and RUM landing pages now show installation steps when the corresponding agent or SDK has not been installed.
- Installation options: Select an installation type to view its script and instructions. Infrastructure monitoring supports Kubernetes, Linux, or Windows installation options.
- OpsAI assistance: Ask installation questions directly from the landing page, with suggested questions specific to the monitoring module.

Role & Permission Updates#
Admins can now assign delete users and edit project access permissions to groups to delegate user and project access management.
Middleware Documentation Updates#
Middleware documentation now includes new content and a reorganized structure to make relevant instructions easier to find.
Release Updates in the Changelog#
The What's New option in the left navigation is now highlighted with each release. Open it to view the changelog and review product updates.
MCP#
Added new skills and tools for the Middleware MCP server, so you can use MCP directly to access data for Integrations, APM, RUM, and LLM.
Performance Improvements and Fixes#
- Alerts: Improved performance for accounts with a large number of alerts.
- RUM: Fixed UI issues and improved performance.
- Dashboard builder: Fixed scatter plots displaying values with incorrect units.
- Dashboard filters: Fixed a case-sensitivity issue with filters during dashboard creation.
- APM traces: Fixed an issue that prevented adding columns to the traces table through the customization options.
