Features#

SLO (Service Level Objectives)#

• Create service level objectives (SLOs) from existing alerts by selecting the alerts, evaluation window, target, and warning threshold.

• Configure SLO alerts to receive notifications when an objective is breached.
• Track error budgets and burn rates to understand remaining tolerance before an SLO breach.

RCA and fix in Slack#

• Investigate alerts directly in Slack threads with OpsAI-generated root cause analysis and suggested fixes.

• Ask follow-up questions and request pull requests for proposed fixes within the same Slack thread.

• Mention @Middleware to start a new conversation about observability data in Slack.
• Conversations started in Slack also appear in Middleware → OpsAI → New Chat, with messages synchronized across both interfaces.

OpsAI#

• Added synthetic monitoring tools to the Middleware MCP server.
• Improved OpsAI response performance for APM, infrastructure, and log-related queries.

Logs Pattern#

• Redesigned Log Patterns with updated data and exploration views.
• Added Pattern Explorer to identify and inspect recurring log patterns.
• Related anomalies are accessible directly from each pattern detail view.

Default alert notifications#

• Enabled email notifications for default alerts so account administrators receive notifications when those alerts trigger.

RUM#

• Updated RUM SDK packages to improve performance and stability.
• Optimized RUM pipeline processing and added validation.

Improvements#

• Updated the log detail panel opened from alert investigations.
• Simplified password requirements to a minimum of eight alphanumeric characters.
