Overview
Middleware's log monitoring system helps you to collect logs across multiple sources such as your server, container, cloud environment, and application. You can easily collect, process, explore, and monitor logs with Middleware.
Setup
To set up log monitoring at the infrastructure level, you need to install the agent, and to monitor logs at your application level, you can configure your application.
Explore your logs
Once the APM configuration is done, your logs are available in Logs section. This is where you can visualize your logs. Logs are updated in real-time.
You can search logs by service name and filter logs for different time ranges.
Chart
You can see number of logs for different time ranges in chart format. This includes all the logs captured from your application.
Search & Filter
You can search logs by typing error name or service name in the search bar. You can use the left panel to filter logs by application, infrastructure, message, etc.
Date/Time
This shows the date&time of that log.
Service
This shows the name of the service for a specific log.
Timeline
You can see the timeline view for the log.
Count
This shows the count of that log.
Severity
This shows the criticality of log, It can be info, error, and warning.
Option to add filter directly from a log in a click
You can use Middleware's one-click filter feature to add any log parameter to directly filter logs by clicking on that value in the log listing.

Go to log detail
You can see details of the log by clicking on the information icon on any particular log. Refer to this video to learn how to get log details.
