Datadog Agent Support

Middleware can now ingest all Traces, Metrics and Logs from the Datadog Agent. This makes moving from Datadog much easier. See docs for more detail.

K8s Auto instrumentation

Middleware now supports auto instrumentation for applications written in Python, Node.js, Java, .NET, and Golang using the OpenTelemetry operator on Kubernetes. This simplifies the instrumentation process and requires no changes in your application code to set up distributed tracing.

Improved AWS integrations

Middleware has simplified AWS monitoring with less complex configurations and has expanded support for AWS namespaces including ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Firehose, Lambda, and EBS.
