# February 5, 2025

Release 2.3.8 shipped on February 5, 2025.

## Features

### Browser Testing

- You can create synthetic tests with Browser type and monitor their URLs with Chrome and Edge browser.
- It gives information with recording and snapshot of executed steps for successful or failed test results.

### Option to pin filters

- You can pin filters so it will be at top and expanded as default view.

## Improvements

### Metrics Explorer

- Option to add a widget to existing or new dashboard.

### Logs

- Custom log attributes: you can set key-value pairs for custom resource attributes, making logs searchable by these attributes.
- Settings → Ingestion control → Config Profile → Add Custom Labels to log

### RUM

- Added an option to “Add origins” (as optional) in case users want to restrict collecting data from specific sources only for security purposes.
- Log pattern: Added an option to sorting in number pattern explorer for numerical values.
- Created Azure Linux installation page with instructions under Agent installation tab.

### Search behaviour change

- To improve search bar performance, we made search with LIKE operator as default so search will be case sensitive.

## Bug fixes

- Synthetic tests: fixed the issue in multi-step API tests to select value from previous steps and UI improvements.
- Anomaly: Improved our logic to give better data in anomaly and we now display bound in the graph for Improved usability to show where values are getting out of bound and considered as anomaly.
- Alert: Fixed the issue of no notification on resolved alerts.

### RUM

- Fixed the issue of capturing request body data.
- Fixed the issue of RUM script impacting page loading time.

### Comparison view

- Updated view for comparison for bar graph with shadowed and dotted lines for better comparison.
- Gave option to modify Y Axis with Linear / logarithmic / Date time / Category / Tree gird so Users can set it as per nature of data for better view.

### Dashboard builder widget creation

- In the filter box, after selecting the attributes, the operators were not displaying automatically. This issue has been resolved.
- The name of attributes in the list was too long (as metrics attribute and resource attribute were repeating: ex Kubernetes.pod.Kubernetes.pod.cpu.utilization). Reordered it to show: metric attributes, resource attributes, and metrics to avoid repetition.
- Improved the search for a metrics or attribute via the resource name in widget creation.
- Fixed the issue of selected attributes doesn’t show all values (ex: if Kubernetes.cluster.name is selected then all cluster should show in the value)
- Fixed the issue of pagination and sorting in the widget after the dashboard is created.
