# Kubernetes

Run the Middleware agent in your cluster so every node, pod and workload reports to Middleware. Pick the install method that matches how you deploy — the standard install, Microsoft PowerShell, or GitOps with ArgoCD — then see exactly what the agent collects.

**New to Kubernetes monitoring? Start with these three.** About 5 minutes per cluster.

1. **Choose how you install** — The standard install, PowerShell, or ArgoCD
2. **Deploy the agent** — It runs on every node in the cluster
3. **See what it collects** — Nodes, pods and workloads appear under Infrastructure

## Guides

Install the agent the way you already deploy to the cluster, then go deeper once data is flowing.

### Install the agent

Three ways to put the agent on your cluster.

- [Install the Middleware Agent on Kubernetes](/get-started/agent/kubernetes/kubernetes-agent) — The recommended way to deploy the agent to any cluster.
- [Kubernetes Agent with MS PowerShell](/get-started/agent/kubernetes/kubernetes-ms-powershell) — Install from Windows using Microsoft PowerShell.
- [Kubernetes Agent with ArgoCD](/get-started/agent/kubernetes/kubernetes-argocd) — Manage the agent as an ArgoCD application, in Git with your other workloads.

### After you install

What the agent sends, and what you can build on it.

- [Data collected by Middleware](/get-started/agent/kubernetes/kubernetes-data-collected) — Every metric, log and event the Kubernetes agent sends to Middleware.
- [KEDA External Scaler](/get-started/agent/kubernetes/keda-external-scaler) — Autoscale workloads from Middleware metrics with a KEDA external scaler.
