Overview
You can visually track, analyze, and display key performance metrics with Middleware custom dashboards, allowing you to monitor the health of your infrastructure. You can build your own dashboard with the important metrics you have and use it to check the performance of your infrastructure and applications.
Create new Dashboard/Report
Create your dashboard in just a few clicks.
Login to Middleware -> go to "Dashboard Builder" -> Create Report
In Dashboard builder, you can see all the custom reports created with names and descriptions. You can search by name and open it by clicking on the name of the report.
Add data to your dashboard
- Create Report -> give a name and description to your report
- Add Data to your report
Select Visualization type
Here, you can select the graph type you want to see your data into (ex: data table, time series, etc)
Select Data Type
You can select the data type you want to add (ex: host, metrics , containers, Kubernetes, process, etc)
Select Metrics
You can select parameters/data of the selected data type to see in your report.
For example, if you have selected Data type = "Host" and want to see host memory usage, you can select "system memory usage" from the select metrics dropdown.
You can include as many metrics as you want in your report.
Give Widget Title
You can give the name of this widget.
Preview Data
Before you make your report, you can preview the data with this option. You can see the preview at the top as per your selected data type and parameters.
Once you save your widget, you can see the report as follow. You can add multiple graphs to your report by clicking "Add new widget" and arranging them by drag and drop in your report.
Add custom dashboard to existing modules
You can add your custom report to existing modules.
for example, you have created a custom report "Process Graph" with the parameters you need to monitor in your process. Now you can add this graph to "Process Module (Infrastructure -> Processes)" .
Click on the setting button (three dots), you will get an option to add your custom report to the existing module.
